Webinar Recap: AI and Recruiting: 5 Factors You Must Know
On November 7, 2019, Meghan M. Biro, CEO, TalentCulture led a SmartSearch SmartPractices webinar that addressed the growing interest in artificial intelligence (AI) and how it is impacting talent acquisition and staffing.
According to a McKinsey Global Institute research report, “AI could deliver $13 trillion in annual global productivity gains by 2030.” This gain will change the way many organizations conduct business and especially how they hire strategically to fill roles with individuals who are on board with AI as a constant fixture in the organization’s business.
AI delivers “scrubbed” data that is more easily consumable and efficient; however, the end-users will need to learn how to interact and partner with AI to achieve successful results. Artificial intelligence eliminates mundane and tedious tasks allowing recruiters to focus on the practices of interviewing and hiring. AI is not a replacement for the human experience, but rather an accompaniment or assistant supporting the end-user. Further, AI is a work-in-progress with the much-needed ground to be covered before it reaches its fullest potential.
